The app was developed to be a hub for everything delegates could need, including the functionality to register for live tour events, message other delegates, scan into events on the day, and find all necessary event info (programmes, speakers). One
Information architecture was scoped out in advance of any design work with a particular focus on user-friendly journeys for customers wanting to register interest in events, and also for customers wanting to check-in at events.
Low-fidelity wireframes were created using rapid prototyping process. The wireframes went through a number of iterations to evolve into a high-fidelity prototype after a thorough period of testing.
The final product was well received by The Superyacht Forum Live community, with positive feedback on the check-in system. Further iterations have been made following feedback on the networking/messaging element of the app, with labelling being upda
